Roots of Wisdom Traveling Exhibit

Whiteswan Environmental's work with Lummi youth was featured as a part of Native communities worldwide are working to preserve their local ecosystems, which are deeply tied to their cultures.

Keepers of the Tradition and Protectors of the Circle of Life:

In the photo above, our youth are gifting  land, water, and a cedar tree from Lummi Nation to the San Juan Islands National Parks Service  and Friends of the San Juans. This is symbolic gesture that WE ARE BECOMING ONE AGAIN. Watch their blessing dance here.

The land and water was blessed throughout the San Juan Islands and Gulf Islands, finally making it back to Whatcom Creek to celebrate The Resurgence of the Salmon People, Part 1, see video clip here.
